Cowal Gold open pit continuation project

Evolution Mining owns and operates Cowal Gold underground mine; an open pit gold operation located 350km west of Sydney. As of March 2023, the first underground stop ore was mined and processed three months ahead of schedule. The Open Pit Continuation project is underway with a budget of $380 million and will increase Cowal’s production to 320,000 low-cost ounces by 2024. The project includes excavations, an underground workshop area, a paste fill plant and the installation of services.
