Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Designed the entire dry front-end of Northern Star’s 27mtpa expansion, including ROM dump, primary and secondary crushing, reclaim tunnel and CSMP works in collaboration with Primero.

Solwezi, Zambia

Delivered key infrastructure upgrades with CPC and Fluor, including flotation circuits, oxide crushing systems, furnace feed works and full non-process infrastructure for First Quantum’s S3 expansion.

Panama

Delivered structural and civil design for site-wide non-process infrastructure, including heavy vehicle workshops, fuel and lubrication facilities and the administration building. Designs were engineered to withstand seismic activity and mountainous terrain.

We also supported equipment layout, belt alignment assessment and repair documentation, ensuring smoother operations and safer long-term performance.

Zambia

Supported structural and mechanical design of First Quantum Mineral’s greenfields nickel facility, including ball mill, reagent area, reclaim tunnel and pebble crusher on a stilts-mounted isolation frame. Provided equipment alignment, belt optimisation and repair documentation to support reliable commissioning and long-term operation.

Robex Gold’s Kiniero power station

Guinea, West Africa

Delivered multi-disciplinary engineering and procurement for a 32MW power station to support
Robex Gold’s 5mtpa gold restart, helping the client stay on track for first gold pour within a tight 10-
month window, including specialist high-temp exhaust, API650 fuel tank design and cost-effective steel buildings in collaboration with Span Africa.

New South Wales, Australia

Provided structural engineering and
construction support for a new carbon-inleach (CIL) tank including a complex steel lift completed in hours. Designed for safety, speed and gold recovery improvements.

Greatland’s Havieron gold-copper

Western Australia

Supported the miner’s 100%-owned Havieron project with feasibility studies for the non-process
infrastructure (NPI) including multi-disciplinary engineering and design, procurement services and a capital cost estimate (CCE) to prepare for project execution.

Tietto Minerals Abujar gold project

Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa

In conjunction with Primero, delivered the structural engineering and detailed design for the gold room and compressor shed, including steel and concrete modelling, layout integration and mechanical systems coordination. The works supported safe gold handling and reliable site utilities across the new processing plant.

Bayan-Arag, Mongolia

Designed and delivered a compact plant for -30°C winter construction, with insulated steel fabrication and simplified sequencing to ensure worker safety and timely delivery.

Western Australia

Led feasibility study management and lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) strategy development for a cost-sensitive 700,000tpa nickel flotation facility — tailored to commodity cycles and investment triggers.

Sentinel copper and nickel circuits

North-Western Province, Zambia

Resolved structural flow issues at First Quantum Mineral’s major copper operation by redesigning a key transfer chute and modifying the building structure. Delivered realignment of conveyors, mechanical interfaces and belt assessment documentation to improve throughput, safety and maintainability.

Mindanao, Philippines

Delivered structural and platework design for a compact plant upgrade in mountainous terrain, including new primary crushing, mill feed and elution circuits — designed for concrete efficiency and constructability.

Western Australia

Delivered structural design and construction management for atmospheric acid leach tank repairs at First Quantum’s sulphuric acid plant. Also completed a conveyor and earthworks review with CPC for the Shoemaker-Levy crushing station, including stockpile reclaimer assessment and modifications to improve maintainability and flow.
